MAKE

Commissioning a new hand made instrument is becoming a favourable alternative to many when we consider the price of 18th and 19th century instruments. The price of older instruments is often beyond the budget of many  players.

The advantages of commissioning an new instrument is that the player can follow its construction from start to finish. Many modern instruments are actually superior to old work.

Specific models can be requested, designs copied or improved upon.

I make instruments with Baroque, transitional or modern set ups upon request. Replicas of past makers instruments can be made.

The cut and choice of tone woods is so important for me as a maker and I can often advise the player, depending on what there sound requirements are.
